Being stuck at home, you might be getting a little bored with the way your space looks. Bring some life into your home by adding in statement pieces that make your space stand out. After all, you are unique, so your home should be too! As much as we love a good accent wall, there are so many other ways to make a statement in your home that aren’t as common. Keep reading below to find out some unique ways that you can make a statement.

Spice Up Your Staircase

I’ve been super into statement staircases lately! It’s a great place to add in some color or texture because it generally doesn’t have to stick to a certain color scheme since it’s transitioning different spaces in your home. Creating a bold staircase can be achieved by painting it, adding in some tiles, installing a carpet runner, or using some bold materials for the railing.

Statement Refrigerator

Statement fridges are my latest obsession. Standard, stainless steel refrigerators are such an eyesore and can break the overall aesthetic of your kitchen. We included a statement fridge in one of our more recent projects that was painted to match the rest of the kitchen cabinetry and featured custom fitted mirrors on the doors, along with brass hardware, to give the space a bold, unique look.

Eye-Catching Entry Way

First impressions are so important, am I right? Well, entry ways are the first thing that people will see when they come to your home, so you might as well make it memorable! Adding in a bold console table, funky wallpaper or artwork, or fun accessories can turn your entry way into an eye-catching masterpiece.

Accent Ceiling

Aim high with a statement ceiling to bring an extra pop into your home, while also reminding yourself to always look up! You can take a more subtle approach by using a beautiful molding or solid paint color, or kick it up a notch and add in some mosaic tiles or metallic wallpaper.

Statement Range Hood

Kitchen range hoods are so underrated when it comes to statement pieces. I mean, who wants that horrible stainless steel block being the center of their kitchen? Bringing in some trendy materials and bold colors to your range hood is the perfect way to make this standard appliance the focal point of the room. Form meets function!

Change Up Your Headboard

Playing around with the scale, texture, and color of your headboard can completely transform the room and add in an element of ‘wow’. Draw the eye upwards by incorporating an extra tall headboard, or give the space a custom feel to it with a full width headboard that extends across your wall.
