Well, here we are. It’s a new year and with that comes the promise of so much potential. Before the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve, I spent several days reflecting back on all that 2017 had in store for me. If you had told me one year ago that I would be sitting here, writing this post, as the owner of a thriving, growing interior design studio, I would think you’d lost your dang mind.
You see, interior design was always something I was passionate about, but it wasn’t until I finally got up and did something with that passion that things started to change. I can’t tell you what that catalyst was or why the light turned on for me all of a sudden, but I am so grateful that it did. I encourage all of you to explore that thing that makes you tick and do something with it. Even if it just means taking a little more time for yourself each day.
But enough about the past, I could go down a story rabbit hole for you guys about how and why I got to where I am today, but we’ve got plenty of time for that.

For now, I want to drop by and say “hey!”. We are bustling over here and while I totally love sharing the progress shots, inspiration and completed work on , I felt like we were missing an opportunity to answer your commonly asked questions, share progress in more detail, offer up trends and product recommendations and best of all, share a little inspiration that you can use your own space. That’s why we are officially kicking off The Remix, which is the cutesy name for our blog (ya know, cuz every blog needs a cute name, right?). This is where will be sharing all kinds of gems from around the design world, including from backstage here at BANDD DESIGN.
If you’ve been loving my posts over at , don’t worry! I’ll still be contributing over there because I love those ladies so much, but you’ll get to go inside baseball with me over here on all things design.
If there is any type of content you are dying to see from us, leave a comment below or send us a note. We’d love to hear from you.
Keep an eye out as we’ll be sharing tons over the coming weeks. Later this week, I’ll be sharing with you the questions I get the most often as a designer.
Until then, thank you. I am so glad you’re here.
Cheers,
