In fact, just the opposite – I think it’s the perfect space to showcase a lot of personality with bold design choices both in color and materials. Bold Not Boring
This powder room makes an impact with a graphic and elegant wallpaper paired with soothing teal blue tiles from Ann Sacks, it leaves an interesting and unexpected mix of colors and prints. This combination works because we used colors that complement one another versus competing for attention. The brass hardware also adds to the cohesive design.

Layer In Details
Small spaces have limited room for furnishings and styling, so every detail counts. This is one of our most popular powder rooms as it’s the perfect combination of color, light, warmth and style. Visual interest ramps up quickly when all of these details come together. My favorite part of the design is the swiss-cross tile behind the mirror, it’s stunning.

Sinks + Lighting
Every powder room has its own needs and functionality. For instance, if you need a tad more storage, you might choose a vanity cabinet with doors to keep items hidden from sight. The room below was designed with this white porcelain pedestal sink – it allows for a more open concept throughout the room. And for towels and small accessories, they’ve incorporated a pretty wicker basket which keeps the room uncluttered and minimalistic.
