It’s spooky season y’all! We’ve got a few team members here at BANDD who are full-blown Halloween obsessed (cough cough…Erica and Rohde) and they’ve really got us in the spirit to decorate for the holiday. Whether you fancy a more cutesy, playful approach to Halloween decor, or you like your home to look like the inside of a haunted house, we’ve got all the inspo for you. Below you can find some of our favorite spooky home finds and ideas for decorating your space this Halloween.

Spooky Meets Chic

If you like a little bit of a spooky edge but are looking to stay more subtle and polished, this one’s for you! As a base for the decor, use basics, such as candle holders and vases, that have dark, moody colors like black, deep purple and wine. Mix scary pieces, such as skeletons, and classic decor like pumpkins or bats, to give it that ‘Haute Halloween’ look.

Using cloches to display bats or other spooky goodies is a boo-tiful way to keep your decor feeling chic and polished. These cloches are perfect since they have a black base, plus they’re budget friendly!

A Playful Approach

Halloween doesn’t always have to be creepy or have an orange and black color scheme! Fun, bright colors such as purple, pink, lime green, and blue are perfect for decorating in a playful way – especially if you have young kiddos.

Haunted House

Was 2020 not scary enough for you? Turn your home into your own personal haunted house for all of your trick-or-treaters to remember! One of our designers, Rohde, is actually quite the expert when it comes to decorating extra spooky for the holiday. Below you can find some recent photos that he snapped of his terrifying (yet awesome) Halloween setup. With this style of Halloween decor, you can really go out all with it in any way that you want. I personally love to mix in antique looking pieces to give a more haunted, eerie feel.
