Here at BANDD, we believe that everyone deserves to live, work and experience life in an aesthetically pleasing space. There’s nothing we love more than getting to transform a room into something that is unique to the client and is custom to their needs and personal style. Whether we do a full remodel, furnishings, or just some light touch ups, we always find it so satisfying to look back at the before photos to see the space’s glow up. We thought we would share some of our favorite before and after shots with y’all to show you the power of interior design – enjoy!
Lost Creek Kitchen Remodel
This kitchen had some interesting angles before and the layout wasn’t ideal for everyday use. We wanted to modernize the look of the kitchen, as well as improve the functionality. Adding in a large island was a must so that the client had more counter space and cabinets for extra storage. This addition made a huge difference in the functionality, but we still needed to give the outdated look a facelift! With the help of some matte gray paint, a copper sink and pendant lights, sleek hardware, and custom window treatments, this kitchen now looks like it’s straight out of a magazine.

Dream Catcher Playroom
It can be hard to justify going all out when it comes to designing a kid’s space, since you never know if one of your kiddos are going to get a little messy with the arts and crafts or decide to play around with red lipstick on the furniture. But this playroom that we designed for a client is kid-proofed and functional for all ages! We had the sofa, ottoman, and chair upholstered with performance fabrics, so that they are stain resistant.

Historic Travis Heights Master Bathroom
This historic home has a quaint and charming vintage feel, which we wanted to keep. But some spaces were very outdated and needed a good facelift, especially the master bathroom. We completely gutted the bathroom vanity to open up the space and added in terrazzo countertops, along with deep blue paint to really make the space pop. These clients are huge fans of bold colors and quirky patterns, so we had a lot of fun playing around with lively materials. The shower tiles were also replaced with oyster hexagon tiles to brighten up the space and give it a clean look.

Small Drive Kitchen Remodel
These clients wanted to give their outdated kitchen a fresh, modern look that is unique to them. The original kitchen had a very unusual layout, featuring two islands that were placed diagonally across the room. This layout wasn’t a good use of the space, so we changed the footprint to make it more functional. There’s a lot of stone and wood throughout the home, so we wanted to choose a deep teal color for the cabinets, as well as white oak to balance out the natural elements that the home already had.
