When it came time to design the bathrooms and laundry spaces for the House Beautiful Whole Home, I seized it as an opportunity to push creativity further — to create moments that felt wildly different from one another, but still connected through intention, craft, and color. Every room has its own story, its own energy, and its own palette of materials.
Let’s walk through each space.

Laundry spaces tend to be afterthoughts — not here.
This laundry room is fun, funky, and intentionally unexpected, centered around a checker-style tile mix of greens, whites, and deep red. It’s a space that makes chores feel a little less… chore-like.
Function That Works Hard
It’s beautiful, it’s durable, and it’s built for real life.

For the primary bath, the goal was simple: calm, serene, and elegant. We wrapped the room in warm neutrals and layered in refined materials like the honed quartzite integrated sink, polished nickel fixtures, and a custom White Oak vanity.
Key Materials
It’s quiet luxury without shouting.

This guest bath doubles as the main powder room for visitors, so it needed personality. The deep green Moroccan-inspired wall tile pairs perfectly with a bold geometric floor — a graphic moment that feels both fresh and timeless.
Details to Know
It’s the perfect example of how pattern can bring life to small spaces.

This bathroom sits among the treetops, so I wanted it to feel airy and grounded at the same time. Soft greens, a grid-pattern floor, and warm brass accents give it a warm, modern feel. The custom steam shower brings the ultimate spa feel to this cozy retreat spot.
Special Features
It’s a space that feels connected to nature, with just the right amount of polish.

This bathroom is wrapped in a soft, cloudlike mural that shifts with the light. Featuring a custom floor-to-ceiling shower curtain and an extra deep soaking tub from Americh, this is a spot for ease and sophistication for any visitor.
Special Features
It’s whimsy — but for grown-ups.
