We recently finished up our Davenport Remodel project and boy, let me tell ya, this home had quite the transformation! This family of five was an absolute delight to work with. They had recently moved to Austin into a beautiful, Mediterranean-style home. They were looking to tone the style down and give it a more modern approach. This home is full of remarkable views, so our goal for the design was to remodel and refresh the spaces to feel fresh, clean, and formal.
Right as you walk into the home, you are greeted by the living room, which showcases beautiful tall ceilings, a fireplace, and incredible views that look over Austin hill country. This space had great bones and a lot of potential, but we knew it needed a breath of fresh air. The fireplace mantel and trim work felt very dated, so we remodeled it with a plaster finish to create a sleeker, contemporary look. The wall niche to the left was also filled and refinished to really make the fireplace the focal point. To finish out the space, we brought in all new furnishings and light fixtures; making this living room modern, organic, and oh so dreamy.

Also on the main level, we have the guest bathroom, which was pretty outdated and in need of a major facelift. Keeping the same layout as before, we gutted the existing vanity, shower, and flooring to replace it with something more with the times.

In the primary bedroom, all this space needed was to remove the outdated drapery, a fresh coat of paint, and serene blue furnishings and decor. Getting rid the clunky drapery really made a huge difference in making the room feel more open and spacious.

Upstairs we have the three kiddos rooms, which were all in need of some bathroom updates to give them a cleaner look and improve functionality.
